The "Westend Sanatorium for the Mentally Ill", built in 1887 in the French country house style, is a magical place in the middle of a small park. The social rooms on the “Beletage” - the former billiard room, the library, music and women's salon, an auditorium and a large winter garden – together form the perfect meeting place.



In the rooms of the Intercultural Centre a family environment has been created for old and new neighbours. Especially those who have been affected by flight and expulsion are invited to become active themselves. Interreligious and intercultural dialogue, art and culture are intended to stimulate new thinking.



With your event in this MEET+CHANGE location, you support the café, which as a joint project of refugees and residents forms the heart of the house, as well as the creative workshops for art and music. Furthermore, you contribute to the creative product development and special commissioned work, as well as to events in the lecture hall for readings, music and lectures that fill the house with life. Equally valuable: the activities and social work on site receive appreciation and recognition through your event.



The Intercultural Center Berlin-Charlottenburg offers a total of five bright and friendly event rooms - for up to 15, 40 and 140 people.



Availability: Monday to Friday from 08:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday by arrangement.
